Work, work, work
It's looking like my bout of unemployement is nearing an end. I received an e-mail today from the manager I've been talking to at my former employer. He's talking to some contracting agencies this week and will be in touch by the end of the week. It was good not to have the work stress while it lasted. But it will be good to have the 2nd income and a break from constant parenting.

i didn't know you were going back to work! same job or something different? why do they need you back all the sudden? and how can you go back when they treated you so shabbily at the end?!
I was contacted by a different division. They have two women going on maternity leave this spring and need some help. It's similar work, but not exactly the same. I'll be under different management. They're letting me choose my hours and work part-time from home. They're hiring me a contractor for a 5-6 mo. minimum, possibly longer. It's more...how could I not go back?!
